Fariz and Zurina have officially tied the knot! The solemnisation ceremony took place on the beautiful morning of 21st November 2009 at Masjid Wilayah, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. It was further followed by a reception on 9th December 2009 at the grand Dewan Jubli Perak. Congratulations Fariz and Zurina!

Guess what, its Raya again! Oh well… ok. not yet. but that didn’t stop us camera-loving souls from working the moves in our (last years) baju raya.
We decided to get personalized (yet again) for this Raya’s greeting card. You should be receiving yours in the mail soon. But if you end up not getting one, email us your contact details so we can be sure to send you one next year iwantkadraya@fmmedia.com.my
Andy our Senior Designer had this brilliant idea of bunga api and light trail effect for our card. The end product was cool, though during the actual shoot, we look pretty funny jumping and swirling our hands around. But we had fun.
The rest of the night was spent posing for more and more shots. We also tried the wind-in-hair effect, only we didn’t have a fan, so 2 people had to improvise with a mounting board instead. Yeahhh… we’re creative like that.
So. studio shoot anyone?
Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Maaf Zahir & Batin.
Have a good one everyone.

Event: MMU Film & Animation 2008/2009 Showcase
Date: Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 8:00pm
Location: ROGUE ART GALLERY, 19 , Jalan Berangan,50200, Kuala Lumpur
As one of the sponsors for the event, FMMedia had been invited to this years FA Showcase. Many of us from FMMedia had actually graduated from MMU and it seemed fit for us to partake in the event, not just to scout for new talent but also to see the progression of our juniors and rekindle with lecturers whom we had once called our Sifu’s.
Out of the top 20 works that were featured that night, many were found to be impressive for such fresh young talent. The amount of dedication and passion that came through each project was truly awe-inspiring. Set against the backdrop of the student artwork hung along the walls, along with the students themselves who were all-welcoming, it was a fun and exciting night. Truly an event to not be missed next year.
