CIMB Islamic Festive Ad
CIMB approached us with a task to promote their products and services while showcasing the different festivities in Malaysia. Staying true to our penchant for unconventional approaches, we went with real-life photographs to create importance on the festive celebrated. The end output for this project was 2 press ads for the year 2016 and 3 press ads for the year 2015, highlighting the financial services while positioning CIMB as a proactive entity in Malaysia’s financial industry.
MERS 999 – Awareness Campaign
We were tasked by TM to conduct an awareness campaign to promote MERS 999, the unified platform for Malaysia’s emergency services. The key aspect of this project was to first create a comprehensive structure for the campaign to accurately reach the intended targets. Another underlying challenge was to get the cooperation from all 5 emergency agencies that were under the purview of different ministries.
From the survey conducted by the client, we analysed the findings to come up with a comprehensive communication strategy that was set to achieve the target of reaching out to the Malaysian public from all walks of life, educating them about MERS 999. And we chose to showcase MERS 999 as a patriot to instil their image as an entity that is here for the public.
We went on to communicate the message to the public by using a wide range of advertising mediums consisting of both Above-The-Line and Below-The-Line materials including radio ads, billboards, school bus ads, brochures, buntings and children’s educational materials among others.

CIMB – Octo’s Pic Contest TVC
CIMB sought to join in on the hype of the World Cup season, and they intended to do this through their Octo’s Pic contest. We were tasked with creating a TVC to generate buzz enticing viewers to join the contest. With only 2 weeks to conceptualise and realise the whole project, we brought together all our resources to make it happen. We used CIMB’s Octo as the star of the TVC and visualised it fully in 3D. The end result was a vibrant and festive 30-second TVC that aired throughout the World Cup season.

CIMB – Investment Banking Press Ad
CIMB wanted us to highlight their latest successes by showcasing their 4 most recent and notable achievements in Asia Pacific’s investment banking field. As the deals consisted of 4 different industries, we had an idea to develop a visual that would portray CIMB’s vast investment banking capacity that spans across various industries. We created a 3D visual showcasing the message and tied it all back with their cross-region expertise. With this, we reinforced CIM’s image as the forerunner of investment banking in Asia Pacific.

Prolintas – Corporate Website
Prolintas, one of the nation’s leading highway operator sought to redefine their image as a modern, forward-focused organisation and embrace the future with their new website, and we took up the challenge. For the website design, we went with a clean, sleek layout to convey a sense of sharp modernity, and by incorporating Twitter into the website, we channelled live traffic updates via the Twitter feed. Through the website designs and the integration of social media, we projected the future-embracing image that Prolintas wanted to portray to the public.

Klik Dengan Bijak – Awareness Campaign
The Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) wanted to communicate the Klik Dengan Bijak campaign to the targeted audiences aged 18 to 21. The campaign revolved around three main themes – security, safety and responsibility to promote a smarter use of the internet.
We conducted a focus group study with a group of 18 to 21 year olds and based on the study, we found that they preferred humorous, yet simple ads to get the point across. With these findings, we narrowed down our concept, helping us better focus on the look and feel for the campaign.
By understanding our audiences, we created various ads ranging from both Above-The-Line and Below-The-Line materials. This enabled us to accurately promote proper internet usage among the Malaysian youth.

CIMB – FX Press Ad
CIMB tasked us with showcasing their expertise and position as the leading service provider in ASEAN’s FX market. The key message they wanted to project is their deep-rooted understanding and insight of the ASEAN financial landscape, and we did that with the concept of Clockworks. By using the clockwork gears as a symbolism, we articulated how CIMB understands the vast intricacies of the ASEAN market and puts it together like a master craftsman, keeping it running smooth like clockwork. By communicating our concept with the use of our 3D visualisation, we showcased CIMB as the leader in ASEAN’s FX services in this press ad.

INTAN – Digital Showcase
INTAN, a body tasked with training government servants to further enhance their professional capacity approached us to create a digital installation for their tech division, IMATEC. And the installation was set to be the showpiece of their flagship area, the Digital Nexus Showcase.
For this project, the defining idea was to highlight and promote the use of digital technology in government services, articulating how new advancements in technology could be incorporated in day-to-day procedures to create a better, smoother work flow.
In reaching this target, we utilised touch screen technology with responsive designs along with ambient videos to showcase the improved user experience that digital technology will make possible.
CIMB Color Run
We developed visuals for The Color Run™ 5k Marathon by CIMB in 2014. Showcasing this as a colorful and joyous event, we incorporated real life pictures from the same event organized in the previous year. These images manage to capture the true surroundings of the event. We also developed ads showcasing the countries and numbers of runners from the previous years. To help instill the rousing feeling of the event which is in line with ‘The Happiest 5k on the Planet’ tagline.
SIDC – 2012 Annual Report
SIDC is the training and development arm of the Securities Commission Malaysia and ASEAN’s leading capital markets education, training and information resource provider. And they wanted us to create an annual report that would reflect their key position in the industry. With their role in mind, we came up with the concept of using Origami to create a symbolism for how they transform individuals into newer professional heights, just as how a piece of paper is transformed into works of art. The concept here truly manifested their position and articulated the image that SIDC wanted to portray.
